We’ll have great food from Austin’s Pizza, adult beverages from Independence Brewing Company for those of you that are 21 and up, plus live music from Stampede Mesa.
NOTE that next month – FrankenBike # 107 aka FrankenBikes 9 year Anniversary at Ozone Bike Department – is when our 2014-2015 Austin FrankenBike Maps will first see the light of day. Each map – all 50,000 of them – will feature local bike shops, local bike routes, 70+ local businesses that support the cycling community as well other helpful information to help folks enjoys many of the nicer things that Austin, Texas has to offer.
We will be going to print on May 30, 2014 and once the maps are ready, 25,000 will be distributed via Austin’s Pizza – on the top of pizza boxes that are out for delivery in the mapped area – while the rest of the 25,000 will be distributed at local bicycle shops, many of our local sponsors location, at UT, ACC, St. Ed’s., at all FrankenBike events, at other cycling events, at Independence Brewing Companies First Saturday Brewery Tour as well as many other legal-to-distribute locations in Austin, Texas.
The picture below represent a live shot of the working draft of our maps and albeit there will be some changes as we get closer to our print date, this is pretty close to what will be hitting the streets of Austin, Texas in June, 2014.
